Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

can no longer find the project gallery templates with the brochures, flyers, business cards etc... when i open gallery i now only have a choice of: document elements, quick tables, charts, smart graphics and word art. unfortunately the project gallery templates are not hiding in any of those tabs... i've tried to delete or move the remaining tabs but they do not seem to move anywhere - so where has my project gallery templates gone???

should i re-install word or can i find them somewhere? and more importantly - how do i put them back into a tab under the gallery???

thx for your suggestions. tigermoon

The items you're referring to ‹ "brochures, flyers, business cards" ‹ aren't
accessed from the Elements Gallery buttons. Use File> Project Gallery - New
tab to create a new document based on one of those templates. The Elements
Gallery only presents collections of "elements" to be inserted into the
current document... Two different "Gallery"s :)

I can't remember whether there was a Project Gallery button on the Standard
toolbar or not -- if there was I've removed mine :) But it's simple enough
to add one if you find it necessary (in addition to the menu command you can
use a keystroke of Shift+Command+P). To add the button:

Go to View> Customize Toolbars & menus - Commands, select File from the
Categories List then drag the Project Gallery command to the preferred
location on the toolbar.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding what you expect, but the templates do not
appear in the Elements Gallery itself under any circumstances. The only
items that appear there are those in the 5 categories represented by the
buttons -- that bar cannot be modified.
