Have i found the right product key? (on bottom of my computer)

I finally found a label on the bottom of my computer labeled: product key
followed by 25 numbers and letters. When I entered it into the product key
box to activate my "Office" program it said I had the incorrect key. I triple
checked and tried entering it again to no avail. The label on my computer
says "Windows Vista Home Premium OEMAct." Followed by a 2 barcodes, then the
product key. What else can I do?

Thank you

The product key on the bottom of your computer is for your Operating System,
not Office.

From where did you obtain your copy of Office? Trial converted to full? If
yes, you should have an e-mail with the PID. Retail version? Look on the
inside of the CD case for the PID.

That product key is for the Windows operating system not office.

How did you get office? If you have a CD the CD case should have the
key on it. If you bought it, then it should have been on the packaging or
in an e-mail if purchased as a download. If you had a trial version, then
you may need to purchased Office or pay to convert the trial version to a
normal version. Instructions for that should be available somewhere on the
trial version.

My guess is you have not purchased Office and will have no key. The
least expensive way of getting Office may be to purchase it from Amazon.
Likely you should uninstall the trial version before attempting to install a
new non-trial version.
