A couple or so weeks ago I was still using Shared Borders for my
navigation on my personal home pages. After advice from you in this
ng I moved to DWTs which allowed me much greater control and
flexibility on web page design.
In the process of moving over to DWTs, I also began removing tables
for page layout. This meant that I could make use of CSS everywhere
for layout and presentation and I think that I've now got a site that
has separated content from presentation. I went for the so-called
"liquid" design and I think that I've succeeded.
So, after a bit of hard work I have a site that looks simple but
which can be made to look completely different thanks to CSS and
DWTs. This should allow me to adapt the site in the future.
I still have a way to go with my navigation. I'm using FP's
navigation components but at some point I'll likely use some
CSS-based menu. I'll lose the dynamicism of the nav components
though.
Anyway, have a look at my site if you wish. Constructive criticisms
are always welcome! And thanks for the previous advice on switching
to DWTs.
Regards,
