We have Office XP on six machines. We just added Matrox dual monitor cards.
Three different types of monitors involved and three different builds of
Compaq workstations involved. (no mix n'match though) All now have problems
with Office - particularly Outlook. Ghost windows, inability to click
function buttons (such as forward or send) and corresponding inability to use
the keyboard shortcuts either. Sometimes can close and restart Outlook to
have the functionality for one use only. Office is the only program
negatively affected. Other times it won't work at all. Does anyone have any
similar situation or suggestions for correction. Thanks!

The probelm is with the Matrox software. They have it as a known issue. Open
Matrox from the systray, go into Desktop management, make sure NO boxes are
checked and proceed into Application Specific Settings. You need to ADD
Outlook by browsing to its command and then uncheck all the boxes that come
up checked. This solved our troubles.
