Have you had the gray screen error?

I'm using Word 2008 for Mac version 12.1.2 (080729) Since this last update I've been experiencing a strange error an I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing it or has found a reason or solution for it.

What's happening is that I use documents with lots of tables. It seems to be random, but I'll be typing in a cell and suddenly the Word window part of the screen will go gray. I think it has something to do with refresh because when i scroll up and then back down, everything is just fine.

Very annoying

If you close the Formatting Palette, does the problem occur?

If not, then what you are seeing is a known bug that we are waiting for them
to fix.

If the problem still happens with the Toolbox/Formatting Palette/Project
Gallery all closed, then it is possible you have the graphics card hardware
failure hitting NVIDIA chips currently.

What is the model of your computer and graphics card?

Cheers
