I was approached by some engineers in our company with the following problem:
We create our license information in Word and create RTFs to be used in the
pop-up windows. It was recently noticed that all the other languages used
would "re-flow" text when the window was resized--but not the German.
I've:
Checked for line returns
Checked to make sure nothing I could find was telling the document to stay a
certain size.
Saved the German file as a .txt, re-imported it, re-applied styles and
formatting (following the way the French & English files, which are fine,
were done.)
Checked the infamous Tools>Language settings. Applying other languages
(including other flavors of German) to the German file produced no change;
however, applying German to the French file produced an RTF file that behaved
the way the original German file did.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
