Having business letters automatically ie to database?

I ahve a business letter that I need to send to various companies. I want
the address block to get populated automatically, by tying into an access
database. This has to be doable, but how?

i use mail merge to do this
i would find it fairly difficult to explain, though, i had to have
someone show me!
look in the help menu for mail merge, once you figure it out it's good.
