Having links to InfoPath forms on an Intranet Site

Lee

Hi,

I am fairly new to infopath and I would like to know if it is possible to
have links of the forms I have created for the organisation on our intranet
site for all staff to access if needed to save them from trying to find the
forms.

Thanks

Yes, Internet Explorer treats them like a file download and Infopath would be
the default application for opening xsn or xml files.

Another option is keeping your forms in a SQL database. You still can
reference them with a URL but then they are secured and protected. Also you
can export the information out of your forms to a table for reporting and
analysis.

Thanks, I'm not really sure how to do this. I have tried to put them on the
Intranet site via a media library, as we do with documents and images, but it
doesn't work in our "Office" folder as it doesnt recognise it as an Office
document.
