Having problem showing movies in PowerPoint.

We are using PowerPoint to do our presentations at Church. We are using dual
moniters and PowerPoint Presenter mode. When we try to show a video clip
that is loaded on a slide in PowerPoint, the only thing that comes through is
the audio. When reviewing in PowerPoint only, the video plays and so does
the audio. Does the type of file, mwv, mpeg, etc make a difference. Any
help or suggestions.
