Greetings board,
I am having a issue with Front Page 2000, and I belive the
issue has something to do with my pc. The server for my
website had to switch computers becuer of a hacker hacking
into the server, so the oswner of the server had to swap
things around, and how I have to log onto the server on a
new ip adress. Id I do a ping search in does, the new IP
adress shows up. However, when I try to log onto the
server to update my website, it keeps on asking for my
password. As of right now, I can not do nothing to my
website, because I can not figure out this problem. In
simple terms, My computer/frontpage does not read the new
IP adress. What can I do correct this problem. Ug! I need
help! Thanks peoples!

Did you or your hosting company point your domain name to the new IP address??
Contact your host about this.

Not sure what you mean by "log on to server" but if you are using a saved
web shortcut, try typing the new IP address in manually instead.

I have been comunicating with the person who does all of
the service to the server, and he has ran out of options.
When I can not log onto the server becuase my computer is
not reading the new IP adress. And in order to log on, you
need to enter your user name and password. Well my
password keeps on getting rejected, because my computer is
not reading the new IP adress. The owner of my server has
checked my password numrous of times to make sure it
works, and it does. I am wondering if there is a hidden
setting in FP 2000 that I am not aware of. But if any off
you have any sugjestions, please e-mail me at
(e-mail address removed) Thanks!

Type the address in manually. Don't use a shortcut or saved (recent) web
address.
