Having reminders show up on the desktop

I have Outlook 2000 & windows ME. I would like the reminders I set in Calendar to show up on the desk top when I boot up the computer. I know this is possible with the calendar program in MS Works. Is is possible with Outlook? Thanks for any help

Wicked Wizard

Well, you can if Outlook is in your startup group. Then it will
launch and start up and display your reminders. But otherwise,
Outlook needs to be running for the reminders to show.
