I've had this problem with a client for a little while now. About every two
to three times he opens up his Outlook 2003, it just hangs up. I've ran the
scanpst.exe file, fixed a few errors, rebooted the Windows XP Pro laptop,
and all is well until he opens up Outlook the second or third time (either
daily or within a few days). The only other alternative I've had some luck
with is to perform a reinstall of Outlook. This again only works for a few
times before he locks up again. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall
Outlook, but the same thing happens all over again. It seems to not
completely uninstall Outlook because some of his settings never disappear
(unless they are stored within his *.pst file on his laptop). By the way,
he's not on a server.
Does Microsoft have some type of uninstaller that will completely remove
Outlook for a fresh reload?
