having to resize pasted pics each update

i copy and paste updated pivot table info each week in a report. I'd like not
have to resize the pics every time i paste them into Word. is there a way to
setup Word so that the refreshed pic retains the same size as the one that
it's replacing?

Could you add the pic into a single celled table (with no borders / margins),
and make sure you have the "Automatically resize to fit contents" option
unchecked (go to Table > Table Properties..., select the Table tab and click
Options... in the bottom right hand corner.
