Having trouble inserting .snp snapshot object in Word.

I used to be able to export Access reports to snapshot (.snp) format, then
insert the .snp files as objects into a MS Word document.

Now, whenever I try, all I get is a blue square. I am running XP Office.
Anyone have any ideas?
