Having trouble inserting text

Help! I'm brand new to web building. I got as far as
inserting the background, logo/pictures. Then I drew a
table & filled it with white to put the text on. But I
can't copy & paste it from another document. Plus, I'm
having trouble resizing the table. It jumps around all
over the place whenever I click on it. What am I doing
wrong??? Thanx in advance to all who reply!

Copy paste into FP often brings along formatting from the other document
Open Notepad
Copy/paste your text from your other document to notepad,
Then copy / paste from notepad to FP

To set the size of the table do not drag it around
Right click the table, and set table properties

Note: tables sizes are minimums, and they will expand to fit your content if the content is wider than the table settings
