Having trouble installing Office enterprise 2007, on a windows 8.1 OS

I have a copy of Microsoft 2007 enterprise office and am trying to install it to a new operating system. Now the first time I tried to install the disk, it read an error code I've never seen. is anyone familiar? Is there any advice on drivers I can access for this problem?
