Thanks for the reply. I know there are arguments for and against using
an
AV
programme for scanning incoming and outgong messages (I'm still on the
fence), however, until I upgrade to AVG8 (Free) we had no problems with
Outlook, and, as mentioned previously, when I am logged in and use
Outlook, I
have no hassle whatsoever!
I've unchecked AVG in the Outlook extension manager for the other user
and
obviously, the error messages do not appear when Outlook starts-up.
Under
my
user account the Add-in is still active and not giving me any problems
(so
far!).
The problem is more an annoyance then any real concern, as this appears
to
be a bug introduced in Ver 8.0, although I've read messages of similar
eror
messages related to AVG going back to ~2004!

You don't WANT any AV scanning incoming or outgoing messages. It
causes
a
myriad of problems, including duplicate messages, messages not
sending,
etc.
It is a waste of time when you have your AV set for real-time
scanning.
