header and footer problems

Morning,

I use a worksheet at work, which works out all scrap, customer return
and other stuff. The file has about 20 different tabs showing graph
and various tables linked together. There is one sheet which shows it
months 'customer returns'. The footer on this page needed to be edite
as is shows information from 2003. (We copied and renamed this t
create this 2005 copy). I edited the header and footer with th
information needed and pressed ok. This is the wierd part; I the
looked at another tab within that document then went back to the ta
where I edited the information, I looked at the print preview butto
and it showed the header and footer as it it hadn't been altered.
have tried saving this after I edited the header and footer and i
still doesn't work.

I am getting very frustrated about this, if there is there anyone tha
can help then reply back

Thanks

Not only that, if a chart is an embedded chart, you can select the chart
and do page setup, and it will make changes as if the chart will be
printed by itself. This does not affect the page setup of the worksheet
which contains the embedded chart.

I suspect the OP may have changed the headers and footers of an embedded
chart, then checked the headers and footers of the whole worksheet,
which were unchanged.

No its not that.

I changed the header information on one sheet, press ok, Looked at
another sheet then went back to the sheet which I changed the header
and it read the original information.

Assuming that you're clicking OK and not Cancel after changing the
settings, then I don't know what is causing that behavior.
