Header in document

I have a protected document that has fill-in enabled fields. I need to
create a "header" that will stay at the top of the document. My dilema is
that because the "fields" or fillable I cannot just type a few fields at the
top of the document because of the shifting information.

Please help!!!!

What is the information that needs to be displayed? Have you considered
inserting a background page with a text block containing the desired
information? You can link this to page one and change the information when
needed.

That's a great idea. The issues is that this information will be changed
ever time someone uses which could be multiple times per day, and the
document is up to 14 pages or more long. Also, most of the people using this
are not necessarily the most knowledgful user.

On another note, I have figured out how to lock in a table but am now trying
to figure out how get the field to automoatically update has proven
frustrating. I want all the "name" fields to update when I enter the name
into the first field.
