Hi. I have a letterhead template created in Word. sometimes when I copy
text over this template, the header automatically moves to the second
page. Any idea how to fix that?

Veronica,

When the header moves to the second page, you are likely copying text from a
document that has a different first page as per the page setup.

The simplest solution might be to "Paste special" and pick unformatted text,
which would allow the pasted text to adopt the formatting (and page setup)
of the new surrounding text rather than that from the document from which it
came.

Good luck,

Hi-

I'm really not clear on the problem, but if I am interpreting correctly
it sounds like what you are referring to as a _header_ is actually just
_content_ at the top of a page. That's why it reflows (or moves) when
you 'copy text over' it... I assume what you mean is when you Paste or
type text _above_ it. If it were truly a Header, it wouldn't move.

The letterhead content needs to be placed in an actual Header
(View>Header and Footer) in order to 'stay put' and the template will
also have to be modified if it is used to make docs that will exceed 1
page in length, so that the letterhead content will not print on the
2nd & successive pages.
