Hi all. I thought I was a reasonably competent user of Word afte
basically growing up using it. Then I discovered this forum, and I fee
like a beginner again
I'm currently writing my PhD thesis, and would like to format my header
as follows
1
CHAPTER NAM
*1.1 - Header 1
Bod
*1.1.1 - Header 2
Bod
-etc-
So... have the chapter number followed by a line break, and then th
chapter name, and then the headers follow the standard multilevel numbe
formatting. How easy is this to do
I'd also ideally want the chapter number and name to then appear on on
line for the ToC
So..
1. Chapter name ............................
1.1 - Header 1 ...........................
-etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
*EDIT* - For what it's worth, I'm using Microsoft Word 2011 for Ma
14.2.4 on Mountain Lion 10.8.2. :
