header1.xml -> header1.xml.rels?

Hello,

From your post, my understanding on this issue is: you want to know why the
line
Me.txtHireDate.Text =
Format(m_objEmployeeDS.Tables("tblEmployee").Rows(i).Item("HireDate").ToStri
ng, "Short Date")
gives an error "Format is a type and cannot be used as an Expression" when
you add another form to your project . If I'm off base, please feel free to
let me know.

The error "Format is a type and cannot be used as an Expression" means that
the name "Format" is possibly being defined as a type (a class or an enum,
etc) in your project and it cannot be recognized as an expression
(function). Please check the new Form you added into the project. If it
does contain such a type, please rename it and let me know the result.

Please let me know if you have any other concerns, or need anything else.

Sincerely,
Jialiang Ge ([email protected], remove 'online.')

Hello Dave,

Yes, you are right. The mapping between header1.xml and header1.xml.rels is
just an extension "rels" and a folder "_rels". Word autmoatically detect
the relationship file according to this rule. If we rename the rels file
to, for instance, "aaa.xml.rels", Word will pop out an alert "some file is
missed" when the document is opened.

If you have any other concern or need anything else, please feel free to
let me know.

Sincerely,
