Using Word 2002, a book document needs a Chapter name and number header
changed for each chapter, which requires section breaks between chapters.
Footers need a Copyright notice and sequential page numbers throughout the
whole document. Whichever one I set up works fine, because of the appropriate
breaks. However, the other then malfunctions because it needs different
breaks.
I was advised by several people to fix it by using the format page number
window, but this did not work for me as I was still getting backwards
pagination and other anomalies. I was also told I didn't need an upgrade
version. If someone can help, thanks. (e-mail address removed).
copyrignt notice plus sequential page numbers throughout whole book. The
footers requires page breaks instead of section breaks. If I do one of the
above, it works fine, but the other mis functions. Iwas told to use the page
format screen, at every chapter beginning, but it does not help. Is this
conflict a 2002 idiosyncrasy, or am I missing something?
