Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Please excuse my ignorance but not that familiar with Word. I have a document in which I need and have placed an image within the header on page 1. I do not want it to appear on subsequent pages (but may need to import another image); please can someone advise how I might do this. Thanks, Pete

Hi Pete,

select the header, then open the Formatting Palette and, in the Header and
Footer section, select the option "Different First Page". That being said,
if you do not need that picture to appear on the subsequent pages, why did
you put it in the header in the first place? You can simply select the image
and, with the appropriate text wrapping selected, place it anywhere on the
page. If you place the image in the upper left or upper right corner, there
is no need to enable different options for the header.
