Headers - can I skip certain pages?

Pat

Can I have a header not print on certain pages through out a manual?

Certain pages of the manual are two sided forms and we want the 2nd page to
not include the information.

Thank you.

You basically have two choices with Headers/Footers. If your only problem
is that first page needs to be different than the rest of the pages, you can
change that in the "Page Setup" dialog box (Different First page). If you
need a variety of different Headers (some pages with and some without), you
need to insert "Section breaks", "Next Page", then go into the Header/Footer
and click off the "Same as previous" on the new page. Then you can change
delete the Header information on that page. if you need it to reappear on
the following page, you need another Section Break, go into the Header and
retype the header information (after making sure the "same as previous"
get's unclicked on the toolbar).

Hope this helps (and makes sense).

Aside from the variation available using "Different first page" and
"Different odd and even," the only way to have a different (or no)
header/footer on a page or section is to insert section breaks around the
different part. You must turn off "Same as Previous" on the Header and
Footer toolbar in both the different section *and* the following section
before removing the header. See
