Headers for Word

I am working on a document that needs a different header on each page. I was able to do this fine on the PC at the office, with section breaks and the switch button in the pop-up menu, but when I brought the same project home to work on the MAC there was no way to get this to happen. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi Martha -

By "pop-up menu" do you mean the Header/Footer Toolbar? And its buttons to
Switch Between Header & Footer and Show Next/Previous?

There's no fundamental difference in Mac Word 2008 with respect to Headers &
Footers. It's just that the controls you're looking for are on the
Formatting Palette of the Toolbox. [The Toolbox is roughly the equivalent of
the Task Panes in Win Word.] When active in the H/F there will be a Header
and Footer section added to the palette automatically. That's where you'll
find all the same controls... Plus a few more :)

BTW - The Switch Between... & Next/Previous buttons are just shortcuts...
The Page Up/Down keys & scrolling will also navigate from Header to Footer &
from Section to Section.
