Headers in Word - missing heading 2

Hi , I've recieved a word doc via email and when I open it my "Heading 2" is
missing. On new docs this does not occur. I can't cut the doc and paste it to
a new document as I lose quality on the page headers. There must be some easy
way to switch back on my "Header 2" , I have all other header numbers just 2
is missing

Are you saying that numbering is missing from Heading 2? If so, you should
be able to recreate it. If you are using Word 2003, see
