Heading cross references

Hi All

I hope this is the most appropriate newsgroup for this
one.

Does anyone know how to insert a cross reference to the
most recent heading ? The normal method of "Insert -
Reference - Cross Reference..." works fine, but I have
many headings (200+) and the text under each heading
needs to repeat the heading's text so it would be great
if I could insert a cross reference to "the current
heading's text" or even to "the current Heading 2 text".
This would allow me to simply copy and paste with the
pasted text picking up the content of its heading.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
