Heading Format

In my document I have setup my Headings as follows:

1.0 Heading 1
1.1 Heading 2
a. Heading 3

Is there a way to write a macro that will change how Heading 3 is displays
so when I start going through the alphabet a second time it displays it as:
aa, ab, ac instead of: aa, bb, cc?

Thank you for responding Stefan. I am not sure how to replace my Heading 3
numbering with the field shown in the link on your reply. Do I do that in
formating and styles under my numbering outline or is it something I have to
do after Heading 3 is created?
