Hi all,
I've read lots of posts and I think my problem is that Word is not
doing what its supposed to do.
I have 2 source docs that feed into a target doc. Each source doc has
2 headings (Level 1). I use INCLUDETEXT to import the text of the 2
src docs.
When I import into the target doc I get:
----------------------------------------------------
Header 1
Text of doc 1, section 1.
Header 2
Text of doc 1, section 2.
Header 1
Text of doc 2, section 1.
Header 2
Text of doc 2, section 2.
----------------------------------------------------
In other words, it does not continue the numbering for headings to
make it 3...then 4... etc.
I haven't tried flushing my Normal.Dot or anything like that yet, but
I just want to make sure that the normal behaviour for word IS to re-
number, because that's not what I'm getting!
Thanks,
James

From what I read, this is NOT the normal behaviour.
