heading style w/ numbering

I would like to create numbered heading styles with the first letter in
the text ( after numbering) to be capitialized ( sentance case). Is
there a way to set this up in the style? I have the autocorrect option
( Capitalize first letter of sentances) turned on. This doesn't seem
to work consistantly.
I am using Word XP. I appreciate any help you can give!
