Heading styles quirks

When I copy heading styles from one document to another, the styles in the
target document are almost always not formatted the way they are in the
source. Both documents have headings styles by the same name, and I tell the
program to overwrite when it asks. Is there any way to ensure that formats
carry over properly?

Hi Kamran

Are you referring to copying Headings themselves (for which see Suzanne's
answer) or copying the styles using the Organizer? If you are talking about
the Organizer you need to do the copy two or three times to get all the
formatting across correctly.
