Headings

This is frustrating, because I was able to figure this out on my own before.
But, it does give me the opportunity to ask a couple of questions:

The most important one is if you have a spreadsheet with headings in Row 1,
how can you format it or fix it so that those headings stay visible when you
scroll? It's frustrating to have to scroll back up to see what column you
are in.

The second question pertains to when you sort the entire page of a
spreadsheet. If you do, the headings are put on another row by
alphabetization. I suppose one could just sort one column beneath the
heading, the click on "Expand the selection" to work around it, but that
seems like just that...a lot of work. Another way around the sorting moving
your headings every time is to put a couple of AAs in front of the first
heading in Column 1. But, that has its drawbacks as well.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Bert,

1 - About freeze row:
Put the cursor on cell A2 and go Window menu > Freeze command

2 - About sort with heading;
Put the cursor on cell table and go Data menu > Sort command > At the bottom
of the dialog box select My list has: "header row" option.
