I have a database where I simply use the table to enter data - now form
required. My habit was to type alt I (insert)/<return> (new record) and
type away. No mouse required. I understand this to be "head down data
entry."
With Access 2007, it looks like I should be able to enter alt I, because if
I enter alt E, I get a message telling me to continue typing the 2003
keystrokes. But if I type alt I, nothing happens. Have we lost the ability
to do "head down data entry?" Must we use the mouse to create a new row in
a table?
