How do I place subforms (queries) on a report (next to
one another) without affecting the vertical alignment
properties of subforms below.
Imagine an array... or better, MS-Excel... the row height
(AUTOFIT) of each row is based upon the cell containing
the largest data set.
If on an Access report, I end up with an 2x4 array, then
the vertical position of the 2nd row boxes will not
appear before the textbox with the largest data amount.
In other words, on the report, there might be a lots
of "white space" in the 1st, 3rd, 4th row simply because
the 2nd column/2nd row's textbox is very big.
I tried sublayers for each column... this caused some
other problems when exporting the document i.e. into MS-
Word.
Again, the question is... what are the properties for
having multiple different-sized textboxes/queries on a
single report w/o affecting the height dependencies?
Thanks,
Tom
