Held down Shift Key too long

Held down Shift key too long and now only characters above normal keyboard
characters can be used.

Read other questions and answers on blog and the solutions offered do not
work. I.e. Start > Control Panel > Accessibility > Keyboard Tab - uncheck
Sticky Keys and Filters checkboxes. None of the checkboxes were checked.
What now, pleeeeez?

We restarted the computer and still have the same problem but thanks anyway.

Hey Bob - after restarting we checked the checkboxes and applied then went
back and unchecked the checkboxes and applied - then it fixed the problem.
Just wanted to let you know. Thanks.

Glad to hear you solved the puzzle. Sounds like the "check box" didn't
stay in sync with the setting.
