Elle

I'm consolidating several scheduels into one but when i copy over tasks some
tasks which are for example 1 day long are showing as starting on 12/01/09
and finishing on 12/01/09 and in the other schedule it is showing as starting
on 12/01/09 and finishing on the 13/01/09 WHY??? and how do i change it all
back so a 1 day task starts and finishes on the same day

Hi,

The tasks have now working time different from the one in the original
project OR the default start and end times (see Tools, Options, Calendar).
Finally, to understand what's happening, go to Tools, Options, View, and set
the date forlmat to the uppemost one in the list (the one with hh:mm in it)

I checked the working times, they are identical between both schedules.

Also evn though the finish date on the one is further in the future the
duration in days is less?????????????

Hi Elle,

It still sounds like a mis-match in working hours. Please have a look at
FAQ Item: 5. Default Working Hours

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
