Help. Access won't let me add a macro

I'm connected remotely via Citrix to a client's network folder where
they have Access database files. I need to simply add a macro to one
database. I can open it, but I can't add a macro. It says I don't have
exclusive access... yadda yadda. Basically it thinks someone is in the
file, which they are not.

Looking at the files in Windows Explorer, I see an ldb file is stuck
open (record locking information). I'm sure that's what's preventing me
from exclusive access, right? Typically these delete on their own after
exiting from the database, right? I try to manually delete it, but get
the message, "Cannot delete... There has been a sharing violation...
The source or destination might be in use."

It's NOT in use.

How do I delete this file or otherwise work it so I can add my macro?

Thanks.

Very likely, there is _some_ user who does not have 'delete file' authority
on the shared folder -- check that out for a long-term fix.

Thanks, Karl and thanks, Larry. I was able to get a network admin
involved who somehow tracked down an employee's machine that was left
running over the weekend with the file open.

My bad. Someone was in it after all. He had him log off and he was then
able to delete the file.

Thanks again.
