Help! All doc layouts changed on new machine!

Mordy

I have a large archive of Word 2000 docs which are all formatted th
same.
I was recently switched to a newer machine and although the tabs see
the same on the ruler, everything is awry. On my old machine an
everbody else's they look fine, but on mine some of the text look
heavier (though the point sizes and font faces are unchanged). This i
causing extra lines and all sorts of havoc.

I've attached Adobe Acrobat copies of the way it looks on my compute
and on everybody else's. (although the fonts aren't exactly the same i
Acrobat).

I'll be very grateful for some assistance.

Thank you

Okay! I'm a nervous wreck now, but I figured it out all on my own!

My new computer didn't have the *Haettenschweiler* font, and that was
screwing everything up.

I squarely place the blame on Microsoft for showing "Haettenschweiler"
in the font box, without giving any indication that they were giving me
a substitute.
