HELP!? - AM I MISSING SOMETHING

Am I missing something about OneNote.

I've accepted the fact that I can't PDF any of my pages or subpages.
I've also accepted the fact that when I try to "Share with Others" via
email, it sends the page, but highlights out the text underneath, or erases
the actual line drawings underneath so that the highlighting is highlighting
nothing.

However, I signed up for sharepoint services.
I clicked on the subpage that I wanted to share.
It brought up the window on the right and I typed in a location on my C
drive to send put the shared document in.
I wound up sending EVERY SINGLE PAGE in that section to the assigned folder
on my C: drive and changed my Tab to a shortcut tab. In addition, it sent
EVERY SINGLE AUDIO RECORDING associated with EVERY SINGLE PAGE to that same
folder.

So, I ask again, am I missing something?
If I have ONE subpage that I want to share with somebody (not move to, not
give to, but COPY and SHARE with), can't I just send that ONE subpage to
sharepoint services?

Now, I moved the files back to the right OneNote folder, but how do I get
the shortcut arrow off of the folder tab?

If somebody could answer some of these question before I lose my mind, I'd
really appreciate it.

Thank you,

Justin

You can if you have the full version of Acrobat.

That's odd. None of that happens when I email a Sidenote item.

I do have the full version of Acrobat (and as I said, a 2 Gig processor and 2
Gigs of RAM, with NO OTHER PROGRAMS RUNNING)...and still, printing to a PDF
writer or distiller hangs the computer.

As for the email scenario, I have no idea why that is happening, but if
somebody comes up with a workaround, I'd LOVE to hear it.

Alan,

You said that none of that happens when you mail a "SIDENOTE" item.
Is that what I'm supposed to do, copy a "page" into a sidenote, then send
the sidenote?

Thanks,

Justin

Don't know why I wrote "sidenote." Meant OneNote.

I have no problem emailing anything from anywhere in OneNote.

You should be able to, yes. I just set up a sharepoint services that copied
a single subpage to a folder on my own server via FTP. I went to that folder
on the server and downloaded the test.one file and it was exactly what it
should be.

I guess I'll try that.
Any idea why I'm having a problem emailing (either hanging the computer,
sending an entire FOLDER instead of the page/subpage I'm clicked on, or
sending blotched out highlighting and missing graphics)?

Thanks for your help.

Best Regards,

Justin

No idea. I tried a test of all that too. Everything worked fine.

I saw the other replies.
If you do have Acrobat and the Adobe "print" setup... it should work. If it
is hanging, it may suggest that there is something going on with your
computers, esp. considering you have 1 Gig of Ram (?!).

I know, not very helpful, but do double-check to see if your Acrobat
software has the latest updates.
