Help - Author propoerty fails to save

In 2007 I used options Prepare/Analyze to remove properties from a
document.
I then re-entered the Author property but now whenever I save the
property its lost.

How can I get around this?

Try the following:
a. open your document
b. uncheck Office Button->Word Options->Trust Center->Trust Center
Settings->Privacy Options->"Remove personal information from file
properties on save"
c. enter your author property and save/close again.
