help calculating time difference

Roe

I am new here and just beginning to use access. I am a teacher. I created a
database of my students info. I have a Date of Birth field ( I named it DOB).
I have an AGE box, that i want to automatically fill in age of student. It
is important that it calcualte to the first day of school next year ( Sept.
1, 2008). I have set up the age formula in the box on the design view of the
Form. It keeps calculating the age with decimals and rounding up. I need
it to stop rounding. I set it to 0 decimals and I set it to Fixed.
Can anyone tell me the correct expression for it to calculate age, based on
the [DOB] field, as of Sept 1, 2008.
Thanks so much for any help offered.
