HELP - Can't delete toolbar

C

Colonel Blip

I have Textbridge 9 and Paperport scanning s/w on my system. Textbridge (I
suppose) puts a toolbar in Excel. I have deleted this time and again, but it
keeps coming back. Any idea where it is originating - file name, etc.?

I don't know about textbridge and paperport, but did you get paperport as
software with a HP scanners.
If so it could be that the installation program of paperport or textbridge
itself programmed a macro in your excel (most likely prsnlk.xls file) which
builds up that toolbar each time you start Excel.

Check for any file(s) in your XLSTART folder.

Move any that aren't Book.xlt, Sheet.xlt or Personal.xls.

Go to Tools>Add-ins and have a look for an Add-in that is loading when Excel
starts up. Uncheck any that may be causing the TB Toolbar build. If you
don't recognize any as TB, you can uncheck all then re-chack one at a time
until you find it.
