Help - Can't see all records in subform

I have a linked main form and subform with data manually entered into the
subform. I can see all the records associated with the client except for
when there has been a change of address or a change of surname (eg
married/divorced etc). The client_id is a unique value. Why can't I see all
of the records for the one client? The table where the subform data is stored
does contain all the records when I open it.
