HELP!! Can't see my slide/poster

I'm making a 36"x48" research poster using PowerPoint. I was laying it out,
almost done, and somehow I can't see the slide anymore in Normal or Slide
view. If I select Slide Show, Notes, or Slide Sorter, there it is, but I
can't see it in any kind of view where I could modify it. Instead, the slide
area looks like whatever I was previously looking at (e.g., slide sorter
view). HELP!! I need to get this finished for a conference next week!

Just an idea, but have you tried creating a new empty PPT file, then used the
Insert menu's "Slides from file" command to insert the working slide into a
new presentation? I guess you might want to change page size first.

Tried both of these suggestions last night to no avail. But I got it working
today by clicking around to different views. I tried putting it in outline
view and all of the sudden it went to normal and there it was. I am not
closing the file, nor changing the view, until it is DONE!! Thanks for your
help!
