Help!!!! Can't set animation on text

i want to know how to apply animtion to one or more text on a slide. I'm new
to powerpoint and I'm not sure if its possible either. Please help in any way.

I think you are going to have to be more specific. The basic way to set an
animation is to click on the text box with the text you want to animate and
choose Slide Show > Animations > and one of the choices. However, I suspect
that you want to do something more, such as animate line by line. If you
choose Custom from the Animations menu, you can choose the animation effect
to apply and then click on the Options tab to set some other settings for
the animation, such as whether to group bullets by 1st level, 2nd level,
etc.
