Help converting old FilePro DB files to Access2000

I have been asked to try to convert a large Database file into an Access
2000 Database file.
I haven't seen the file yet, but I thought I would first stop to ask if
anyone has tackled this kind of thing before.

The Filepro Database file is any where from 5 to 10 years old I think.
My client said it was a DOS file.
I take that to mean Filepro for DOS. I tried looking up Filepro but so far
I have found litle help on the topic.

All I need to do is convert it or export it to Access or a similar database
application.

I wish I had more info to tell you.

hi,

See if you can do a export from the File Pro Dos file into a flat file
format. A coma separated file will be good. Once you have the flat file you
can import it into MS Access using the Import Data Option.
