HELP! Counting number of records that match a criteria

How can I get Frontpage to display the NUMBER of records that match a
certain criteria?

For example, my Access database is full of records that are intermixed
with information, and there are 20 records that are of "Type-A" and 36
records of "Type-B" and 45 records of "Type-C". How can I get
Frontpage to count the number of Type-A records, and come back do
display:

"There are 20 records of Type-A"
"There are 36 records of Type-B"
"There are 45 records of Type-C"

I can get it to count the total number of records, but not the
individual record types.

Can anyone help?
