Help creating a database

Chuck

Hello,

I am looking to make a database to help me manage 20 managers that report to
me. I want something where I can click on a location and it will allow me to
type notes about my location visits with them. I woudl also like the ability
to print the data by location. I have only even run access ONE time, but was
told this was the way to go. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!!

I am hoping to not have to go that route if I dont have to. Im sure anyone
who has a clue would be able to tell me how to do this in like 30
seconds....I am just way way too new to access...

Another option would be to consider OneNote.

If you're new to Access then it might be worth looking at the built-in
templates. You might be able to adapt one to suit.

You will need to do a bit of study. Access has a steeper learning curve than
(say) Word or Excel, just because the concepts of relational database design
aren't automatically obvious!

I'd expect you'll need at least four tables - a table of Managers, a table of
Locations, a table of Visits, and a table of Notes. It wouldn't be all that
hard to set up the tables and a couple of Forms to enter data into them, and a
Report or two to print them out - but don't expect to get it all done by this
afternoon!
