Hi,
I've been banging my head on the wall and every known search engines out
there. This came up overnight on a perfectly running Win 2003 Server with
the latest patches and updates from Win to IE to Office updates.
We have a custom report built using SQL Server Reporting Services. And
apparently over the weekend, the system went crazy. I recompiled my code in
the production server and the Access is denied message showed up.
Compilation Error
Description: An error occurred during the compilation of a resource required
to service this request. Please review the following specific error details
and modify your source code appropriately.
Compiler Error Message: CS0016: Could not write to output file
'c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\Temporary ASP.NET
Files\_layouts_camps\c3e66d94\6d01e4e6\sd5-3r_v.dll' -- 'Access is denied. '
I tried reinstating the ASPNET user account like what the C# forum
suggested, and I tried giving full control permissions to everyone under the
Temp ASPNET directory, but to no avail.
Any ideas, anybody?
